Hi Guys,
This is the main theme so learn all the attached parts!
It is also known as "Tapping Head". This means whenever I tap my head we return to the main theme.
We will always start with everybody on the bottom line. Then when I give two whistles half the group should move to the top line.
Remember you can harmonise the top line with the appropriate pentatonic scale... Concert - (G, Bb, C, D, F) Eb -( E , G, A, B, D) Bb - (A, C, D, E, G)
I will keep the tune moving by choosing different groups of people to improvise at different times. When you get chosen don't wait for ideas to come, just blow!!!!!!!!!
All the parts are available below in a .zip file. Just open up and choose the appropriate part for your instrument.

Crossroads (for marching)

The recording is a version of how Crossroads might sound when we are marching. When out and about I will signal the start of Crossroads by crossing my arms. For the Marching Band you only have to memoriseCrossroads SECTION 2.
When we return to the main stage we will play all of Crossroads on stage.
The form will be as follows.

1. Intro
2. Main Tune
3. first solo
4. second solo
2 Main Tune
3. third solo
4. fourth solo
2. Main Tune with outro.

When we are out marching we only play sections 3 and 4 of PB. So memorise these phrases! I will direct between them by holding up 3 or 4 fingers..... easy. As with the other tracks I will choose a few people each time to solo as the music progresses. Keep it lively and be ready for the music to go anywhere!!!!
When on stage we play PB as written. There should be repeat marks at bar 9 and bar 44, they are missing from the parts...
The form when playing on stage is....

3. everybody OPEN
2. Dan's solo first time, Main tune everybody second time.
3. everybody OPEN
4. BIG RIFF (and then march off stage)
